The final product of the 20% Project assigned to my partner and I, was a success. There were alterations, such as removing the idea to include medical terminology within each page, but the content regarding the anatomy and physiology remained accurate and successful. There were flaws, there were outstanding aspects, and there was much stress involved. In the end, we ended up not finishing our last few pages of systems, but there are introductions and an informative link that provides all of the content that may be seeked upon.
The formatting and amount of information was one of our strong points. Both of us are considered Type A people, therefore the organization and formatting situation was above expectations. Each page resembles each other, and there is content that any high school anatomy class would include with few exceptions.
There were, honestly, too many flaws that planned for. First off, I am not fond of this type of project referring to the 20% Project concept. The idea of choosing anything you want, even though a class should be content based, is not how my mind chooses to function. I much rather be assigned a project and given an exact due date. I would not choose this project, but it was slightly better once a topic was decided upon. There was not enough time to produce exactly what we had planned to produce, although I plan on possibly updating the website within time, just in case people actually want to use it for a resource. The content is consistent and accurate, although there is plenty more that could be included.
I am, overall, satisfied with how this website turned out. I know that when I enter college and take an introductory anatomy class, I will look back at this website and use it. I also hope that other students in the future at Yorktown will use it as well.
